Other Manchester Pirates clips track list:
(1) Radio Lancashire from 1972. Lancashire on SW became Lancashire on MW which led on to Radio Aquarius. At the end of Radio Lancashire's transmission, they are called by a QSO pirate! Off air tape.
(2) Radio Phoenix jingles. Made by Andy for DJ Bob Berry (me, I think) and rescued from a flaky studio tape. Radio Phoenix was run rather sporadically by Ian, his friend Tony and Andy around the Summer of 1975.
(3) Radio Rag 1975 1. Radio Rag put out a huge signal across Manchester and was often heard coast to coast. Off air tape.
(4) Radio Rag 1975 2. More from Pirate Pete and the crowd on 225 metres. Off air tape.
(5)
Superstation 1993. First day on air(?) on 97.7 MHz FM stereo with Brent Williams twisting the knobs. Off air tape.
(6)
Superstation 1994. Bob Layne has the dreaded lerghi. Bob often popped up on radio stations in the area.
(7) Radio Jackie North 94.7 FM Jingles. Not the same RJN as from Merseyside!!!!
(8)
The Pennine Radio T-shirts spoof ad. Obviously Pennine was not a pirate, it was
an early ILR station where Charlie Turner (Aquarius, KFM) got his first
non-pirate job. He made this ad while he was there. Bad language warning!
